I had some issues with the site. Now I have no Page Rank until the next PR update. Because of this I am trying to get my traffic back. I am currently giving free website reviews. Plus, I am selling “featured listings” on my Directory for only $1.00. That price used to be $5.00. Soon the price will be $5.00 again, so take advantage of a cheap do-follow link. Just click on submit link, and then enter your website information. PayPal only. If you have any problems then just email me brian@mmads.startlogic.com .
Issues with the site: I had bought stuff through Batteries.Com . Their site got hacked. I started getting charges that were not mine. Then somehow the credit card company took money back from my host, Startlogic. Then Startlogic took away my hosting and all my sites
Now I am all figured out, but my PR 3 is down to PR 0

Google has a lot of people that are trained to rate your pages.
These people have a book that they are given to teach them how to do this. I got my hands on this, and now I am going to share with you. I already posted the whole book in a earlier submission.
Things they consider before rating webpages:
The rating Scale goes Vital, Useful, Relevant, Non-Relevant, and Off-Topic.
If you search for something then that is the order the links come in.
Vital webpages are the official page for a person or a country. This makes it so that if you search for a celebrity their homepage comes up first (if they have one).
Most things do not have vital pages.
Leave me a comment with your email and I will send you this whole document.

From my studies here are things that impact your rankings with search engines:
- PageRank
- Domain age
- Website traffic
- Keyword phrases put in website content
- Keyword phrases put in meta tags – title, description, keywords
- Incoming link quality and number
- Keyword phrases in domain name
- The time visitors spend on website
- Content update
- Keywords are in “bold” (strong) or in H1/H2 tags
- Keywords are used in the “alt” tag/attribute in your images coding
- Submit sitemaps to search engines
- Do not link farm (More than 100 links)
- I think .com has more juice with engines than others
I believe that fresh new content that is updated often is the best. Just be sure all these other things are in place too.

I decided to reveal a couple tips about SEO. Reveal is not the right word. These are not big secrets, but I wanted to put some of them in one blog post.
- Find forums that are related to your niche and join the community. Do not just spam your site or products. Be a useful member of the forum and you will benefit greatly. Add your link (s) in your signature. Sometimes these links will count as backlinks too, but even if they do not you will get traffic from search engines this way.
- Leave comments on blogs. Some blogs are “do-follow” which will give you a backlink. Leave a good comment and you may get visitors even if the comment has no link in it. i will go through comments and click on the name of the person who left the comment.
- Submit your blog to article directories. Make sure that you leave links in the author area.
- Submit your site to free link directories . Be sure these are good directories that manually approve their submissions, because you do not want to be sharing PR juice with spammy sites.
- Trade links with other webmasters.
- Guest blog on other bloggers sites.
- Promote your website by getting a fellow blogger to review your site.

Unlimited free .edu and .gov links – Another great potential is edu and gov links as Google and others give authority over these types of domain extentions.
The ’site:’ feature in Google allows only results with that domain name or domain extension to show up. You can “hack” this feature to allow Google to find the most relevant university and government websites related to your sites.
Edu Guestbooks – Guestbooks can too be quite good for dropping backlinks and if you want a few edu ones with good PR heres a small list below. Ill not go into detail on how to add your link as im sure you will all know, anyway heres the links.
RSS Feed Directories – This ones for the bloggers and forum owners too, anything really with an RSS feed, even if you fake an RSS feed and randomize it, it can still work.
Here is a good list of places to submit your feeds or you can use those automated software like RSS Announcer or Submitter, Or Bloggergenerators free blog and ping tools, theres a ton out there.
Digging – Digging the same as any network like such brings an incredible amount of backlinks and gets the buzz around fast. You can use things like Piqq, which is a digg exchange.
Digg Comments – Digg comments can get you a few links and the latest comment is always usually at the top. So its an idea maybe to post on the popular diggs.
Flickr Spamming – Flickr allows comments on photos taken by other people, now you can go wild and mass comment but i wouldnt recommend it, instead pick suitable pics about your niche and simply write a comment saying something smart like can i use this picture on my blog here, then drop your link, or go wild and do it anywhere.
Article Submission – If you have a product thats going to be released or a new site, its best to get the word around fast, using something like Article Equaliser or something that mass submits to a ton of article directories, this builds fast backlinks but sometimes takes time to get approved, and its best not using spammy type articles but interesting ones work better. And you’ll find that a lot of other sites scrape article sites for there own content. Giving even more backlinks.

What is a backlink?
Backlinks are incoming links to a webpage, website, or blog. Basically any web page linking to another leaves a backlink.
How do backlinks help?
The number of backlinks is one indication of the popularity or importance of that website or page. Search engines such as Yahoo and Google see these backlinks and they help the determine a websites search engine ranking. Many SEO consultants claim that backlinks account for about 80% of a page’s placement in the search engines, the other 20% being related to your content and the websites format. So, you see, if you want your page to get traffic when people type one of you keywords into a search engine, you need to acquire backlinks, and usually, tons of them.
A great example of what backlinks can do is by Googling “Google Bomb”.
How do I know how many backlinks I have?
Search for «link:website address» For example: if I want to see how many backlinks that I have I Google “link:www.getzooted.com”
Or go to any site with a useful backlink checker
How to get more backlinks?
-Submit to directories. Get Zooted is a free directory.
-Leave comments in blogs (such as this one)
-Link exchange, but only with sites related to your topic or niche
-Join Forums and post a lot. Have your link in your signature.
-Buy reviews on blog sites (such as this one)
