The Good:
Very helpful to bloggers. It has great posts too. Some of the other social bookmark sites just have all spammy submissions. This is for real bloggers right now, and I hope that it stays this way. As far as looks this site is top to bottom beautiful. The blue/green/ earth-tone background look awesome and relaxing. There is a forum that gets shown some love too. That could use a makeover, but I am not reviewing that. Another asset to this website is the blog that is attached. Be sure to check it out for blogging tips and more.
The bad:
The Adsense placement up top annoys me, but maybe it is a good spot financially. Other than the Adsense ads I would keep the site as is. Actually I would get rid of some of the 125 x 125 ads on the right sidebar too. There are too many of them in my opinion.
It looks like the webmaster is really trying to take a huge step. This site is very beneficial and will get used by a lot of bloggers. As long as it doesn’t get abused we will be fine and I will be using BlogEngage for a long time. With an Alexa traffic rank near 43,000 I think others will be using this service for years also.
